2.) RECIPE: Holiday Cranberry Birdie Bread
This is SO easy. It's one pan and one bowl. Plan on
10 minutes to prep and 15 to 20 to bake. The
cornbread mix cost 33 cents and a bag of frozen
cranberries cost $2.00 (used about 1/4 bag). The
birdie bread cost about $1.00 to make.
INGREDIENTS
* 6 oz. package of white cornbread mix
* 2 c. frozen cranberries (don't defrost)
INSTRUCTIONS
* Prepare mix according to directions on the
package. (Okay to substitute water for milk.)
* Stir in berries.
* Bake.
Modify the recipe by using other fruits and/or
vegetables in place of the cranberries.
